Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple are spending the holidays at the beach!

On Saturday, Paltrow, 51, posted a carousel of photos on Instagram featuring herself and her children Apple, 19, and Moses, 17, enjoying a family trip in Mexico for the holidays. She captioned the post with a Mexican flag emoji.

In the first photo, Paltrow is wearing white shorts and what appears to be a white bikini top while smiling next to Apple in a black maxi dress as they pose on a beach at sunset.

The next photo features Apple and Moses wearing sunglasses and bathing suits while lounging on a boat in the water. Apple strikes a pose in her black dress in the third photo, and someone appears to have captured Moses in a contemplative moment in the last image — his back is to the camera as he looks out at the water underneath a red and orange sky.

Paltrow shares her kids with her ex-husband Chris Martin.

In a November cover story for PEOPLE, the Goop founder reflected on how drastically motherhood has changed her life and career.

“Well, it’s kind of ironic because I really stepped away from acting when Apple was born. The last time I was in every scene of a movie was when I was pregnant with her,” she said.

She also explained why she thinks she’s a lucky mom. “I kind of didn’t have the horrible teen thing, I think because I’ve always been very, very honest with my kids and I think I’ve always empowered them with a little bit more freedom and responsibility than they thought they were ready for,” the Shakespeare in Love actor said.

Paltrow continued: “I really loved having teenagers. I mean, Apple’s in her last year of her teenage years now, which is so crazy to me that she’ll be 20 on her next birthday. I don’t quite know how that happened.”
