The tournament will take place from December 1 to 4 in the Bahamas
Tiger Woods has announced he will play in the Hero World Challenge, the tournament organized by his foundation, from December 1 to 4.
Over the past few years, the 47-year-old golfer has made several of his comebacks at the event, playing in four of the last five editions.
The HWC will feature 20 golfers and will once again be held at the Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.
Defending champion Viktor Hovland will be there, along with seven major winners who have won a total of 11 championships. Three tournament exemptions will be named at a later date.
It should be noted that Tiger hasn’t played in a PGA Tour tournament since the last British Open.
Woods is scheduled to play in two consecutive events, as he will also participate in ‘The Match’ on December 10.
He’ll partner with Rory McIlroy against friends and Presidents Cup teammates Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.
